Apart from the standard thicknesses 1.0 and 1.5mm the options for customization are ranging from 0.8 – 2.0mm. Consequently, manufacturers can easily select degrees of strength and flexibility to adapt the material to their products with their unique properties.

We are flexible, and we know you are picky about colors, and looks. That is why we offer you to customize your color, in any nuance you want. We need a bit longer delivery time, and will add a startup cost when customizing colors.
You can always choose from our nine standard colors, which in itself facilitates many functional, decorative design opportunities inside and outside products.

LIBA® is unique and easy to use. It’s exceptionally durable, lightweight, and flexible. The perfect choice for shoes, gloves, bags, and many other items – products in which exposed surfaces can be improved and thus extend product life.
We can customize LIBA® to fit your needs. From 2cm wide rolls used as seam sealing tape or stitched in tunnels to protect cables, wires, or other sensitive equipment. LIBA® can be laminated directly to other materials or used as a single sheet anti-slip mat. Some of our customers use LIBA® inside their shoes to reduce friction.
LIBA® has excellent adhesive properties and can be glued with both PU- and Neoprene-based glue. It’s also possible to stitch the LIBA with a DB-needle (ball-pointed needle). The TPU film is winded and sold by rolls at 44 or 78 cm in width. Each roll contains 20-35sqm LIBA®, depending on material thickness, no matter width.
FINE SAND

TEXTURE, SURFACE, AND THE TOUCH OF THE HAND
The standard surface of LIBA® is called “fine sand” the look and touch remind us of wet asphalt. However, the surface is versatile, durable, and fits most of our customers. We can also offer LIBA® brushed. This design is called “sanded top surface” and gives a matter, more rubber-looking finish.

We offer free collection of the waste material from your production. The material is returned to our production and reused to become new LIBA® rolls.

PERSONALIZED SURFACE
By using various techniques, you can create your very own character on the surface finish of the LIBA® material.
This provides ample opportunities to use it as a design element in the work with the products. Below, we showcase examples of the work from some of our customers.
HIGH FREQUENCY
The Italian printing specialist New Press shows how LIBA® 1,5mm “fine sand” looks printed with high frequency printing technology. Any structure is possible, colors can be added.
LASER ENGRAVING
ALFA outdoor uses laser engraving to create their design on the LIBA® 1,5mm “fine sand” mudguard in of one of their hunting boots.
WELDING
Secrid – uses a combined welding and cutting method when manufacturing their card holders in LIBA® Smart 1.0mm “fine sand”.
TEST RESULTS ABOVE THE REST
We used the Martindale method to test LIBA® Smart for wear-and-tear in textiles and outer materials. LIBA® Smart withstood the process so well that we added much harder tests, which are done for gloves, i.e., sandpaper is rubbed against the material during the test. Even then, LIBA® Smart demonstrated extremely high results.
